The "EkoSeedForum - European conference on organic seed, organic plant breeding and agrobiodiversity"
in Poznan has been concluded with encouraging results. With around 150 participants from
19 countries the interest in this conference exceeded the organizer’s expectations. "The conference aims
to support the development of an independent organic plant breeding and seed production sector in
Central and Eastern Europe, and we are glad that our university was chosen as venue," said the vice
chancellor of the University of Poznan, Grzegorz Skrzypczak, in his opening speech.
The 4th Scientific Conference on Organic Agriculture in Central and Eastern Europe
to be held in 2013 in Hungary. Theme: Targeting global sustainability, food safety, biodiversity and climate change.
In 2012 Czech Technology Platform for Organic Agriculture and its members promote archivation of Czech publications and projects concerning organic farming in an international database Organic Eprints www.orgprints.org
. During this year we hope to deposit most of publications published since 2009.
